Session Description
A group of schools in Otago, New Zealand, has been using a reciprocal model of providing classes to each other's senior secondary students since 1992. This presentation will describe the approach used by this group, and report on research conducted over the last ten years that has involved input from teachers, administrators, support staff and students. Findings to date suggest that their model is effective for a wide range of students, and that support by students' local schools is critical.
